Laboratorios Farmacéuticos ROVI has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal 2026, placing the company among the top 5% of companies assessed by the sustainability ratings platform. Furthermore, it has improved its overall score by 12 points compared with the previous assessment, increasing from 71 to 83 points.
This result reflects the progress made by ROVI over the last year in continuing to integrate sustainability throughout the Group’s activity and reinforce its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices. The 2026 assessment recognises significant improvements in key areas, such as the environment, business ethics, labour practices and human rights, and sustainable purchasing.
In the environmental category, EcoVadis has particularly recognised the definition of new quantitative targets set out in the ESG Master Plan 2026-2030, related to key aspects such as energy, greenhouse gas emissions, water, waste and the circular economy.
Likewise, the Group’s commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has contributed to reinforcing its commitment to climate action and emission reduction, aligning its targets with internationally-recognised scientific criteria.
Reinforcement of responsible governance and management
The improvement achieved also reflects the strengthening of the Group’s management and governance systems. Among the aspects recognised by EcoVadis, special attention should be drawn to the certification of the information security management system under ISO 27001, an initiative that helps to enhance risk management, control processes and continuous improvement.
Likewise, EcoVadis has recognised the progress made in responsible supply chain management. In this area, ROVI has strengthened the supplier assessment and monitoring processes, promoting increased integration of ESG criteria throughout the value chain.
In the social category, EcoVadis has recognised the progress made in people-related practices, including policies and initiatives related to health and safety, professional development and work-life balance. These improvements reinforce the ROVI Group’s commitment to creating a safe working environment, focused on the development of its employees.
Achieving the Gold Medal and the improvement in the overall score represent significant recognition of the work carried out by all the teams that form the ROVI Group and demonstrate the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and progress towards increasingly responsible and sustainable management, in line with the expectations of its stakeholders
