Web server logs
Like a vast majority of Internet sites, we collect the information from your server log automatically through our web server when you visit one of our websites. The web server automatically recognizes certain non-personal information, such as the IP address (except as explained in the next paragraph), the date and time of your visit to our website, the pages you have visited on our site, the web from which you followed a link, the browser you are using (for example, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.), the operating system you are using (for example, Windows XP, MAC OS X, etc.) and the domain name and address of your Internet service provider (for example, Telefónica). The web server will also collect the information on cookies. We frequently check the server logs to see which pages of our website are being visited, in order to obtain a better understanding of how our visitors are using the site. This is what is commonly known as web statistics and allows us to maintain and improve our service. Furthermore, in the event of fraudulent or illegal use of the system, we can use this information together with your Internet provider and/or the authorities to track the origin of the inappropriate use.
IP Addresses
This website uses Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number that your Internet provider assigns to your computer to access Internet. In general, an IP address changes every time you connect to Internet (it is a “dynamic” address). However, if you have a broadband connection, depending on individual circumstances, it is possible that the IP address that we collect, or even a cookie we use, might contain information that could be considered to identify you. This is because, on some broadband connections, the IP address does not change (it is “static”) and could be associated with your personal computer. IP addresses are used as part of the web server log information as we say above. Changes applied to this Cookie Policy. We may update this Cookie Policy. When this happens, we will make the updated Policy available on this page for your information.
